VEWS is installed on the Shell Luconia platforms, offshore Malaysia. The VEWS systems were supplied by Dynatrend to GE as an integral component to ensure warranty availability of 96% is maintained with the LM2500PE gas turbines. These system are configured to monitor the gearbox and gas compressors systems. "Real time" (on demand) diagnostics are undertaken at the Dynatrend office in Norway via remote links. These systems are configured to initate and transmit alarm signals to pre-programmed pager and telephone numbers.
Shell Malaysia is now entering contracts with Dynatrend to continue the monitor program, future upgrades and support.

VEWS is installed at the EVO Oberhausen Power Station in Germany on a Pratt & Whitney FT8. The VEWS data is evaluated by the OEM to gain a better understanding of the GT under various operating conditions, with a view to provide feedback for their existing fleet, and for the next generation of gas turbine designs.
Monthly reporting by remote monitor is carried out by Dynatrend
Dynatrend is also supplying advanced analsysis services for various testing projects.

Dynatrend is developing a relationship between experienced faults and vibration diagnostic patterns for engine test cell applications. This is for the Turbomeca- Makila 1A, 1A1 turbines. The purpose is to develop automatic fault announcing techniques.

VEWS has been installed at various offshore installations on the Norwegian shelf, in addition to various power stations onshore in Denmark, Germany.
Additionally, portable VEWS systems, which can be applied temporarily, has been used at numerous installations like; Isle of Man (GB)- Manx Electricity Authority, General Electric and CHC Helicopter engine test plants etc. etc..
